Why *that* flag?

The Confederate Battle Flag (CBF) is the most iconic symbol of the South and its identity. Its inherently Christian, with St Andrews Cross being its most prominent feature. It's the flag of a people, and is likewise featured such in many other Southern flags (such as Georgia's historic flag and the present-day flag of Mississippi).

Why superheros?

The South is in dire need of content. It's being emptied out by the cultural wasteland that is Hollywood. You look to the past and see all sorts of Southern creations or creations about Southerners. For tv shows, there was the 'The Gray Ghost" and "The Rebel" of the 1950s, "Beverley Hillbillies" and "The Andy Griffith Show" of the 1960s, and the "Dukes of Hazard" of the 1970s-80s. Superheroes offer something for Southerners across a large age-group and interest. But it won't, and it shouldn't, merely stop here. Our plans are to forward a variety of pro-South materials, starting with Rebel Yell.
